Meet the owner
Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, The Face Business (TFB) is the product of turning my passion for skincare into a career.
Just like my son, TFB started as a tiny baby. Crawling turned into walking, and walking turned into running wide open. I began during an uncertain time, and being the risk-taker that I am, it blossomed into something beyond my dreams.
I attended East Tennessee State University for business, but as I got older and grew into myself, I realized I wanted to pursue owning and operating a spa. I then attended Tri-County Community College, where I earned my degree and license as an esthetician. I deeply believe in the power of education and continue to learn from mentors and clients. I also attend events, conferences, and workshops several times a year to expand my knowledge.

In 2023, I became a Brand Ambassador for DermaConcepts (the US supplier of Environ products) for the state of North Carolina. I have been recognized as an Advanced Skin Care Professional of the Year for 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Derma Concepts Ambassador
In 2022, I worked with a new client who asked me about a company called Environ. She said it was the only skincare line that cleared up her acne. I had no idea what it was or how it worked, but I learned you had to have a medical spa affiliation to purchase and use their products. Once I obtained that affiliation, I had my eureka moment. Introducing Environ into my practice was a pivotal decision for my business.
Discovering Environ
My professional career as an esthetician started in 2020 during the pandemic, and I have never looked back. Though that time was very challenging with life in general, building TFB gave me a sense of satisfaction (and sanity for me & my husband) during that uncertain time. The spa became a place for my clients to escape and disconnect for a while.

Esthetics technology is a results-driven field, and I take pride in my clients achieving the best results.
